Dog Days' Waterfront Vacation Rental - Stay With Us For Fun Fall Events!

There are some fun fall events coming happening all around the lake area over the next couple of months. Our waterfront vacation rental at the Lake of the Ozarks, located right next door to Dog Days Bar & Grill, offers the perfect place for you to stay when you come to town to enjoy those events! 

As an added benefit, the weather is wonderful, the lake view in autumn is spectacular, and our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant is still open. (Even the heated pools too!) Whether you're planning a friends' getaway or a vacation with the family, our luxury vacation rental has plenty of room for everyone. 

Ideal for Large Groups
This 4,500 square-foot vacation rental sleeps up to 16, has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 1 half-bath. Upstairs there is a large living room, kitchen, and master bedroom with a bathroom. The Master Suite has a king-sized bed, double vanity sink, jetted tub, and a double shower.

Downstairs you'll find the other 4 bedrooms plus 2 full bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms offer queen-sized beds. The fourth bedroom is perfect for kids with two bunk beds. There are 2 sleeper sofas as well. Another large living room for entertaining with a pool table will also be found downstairs.

The upstairs and downstairs decks both run the length of the house and are the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the breathtaking view of the main channel. The house is settled on the 19mm and comes with the use of a dock. There is a 14'x38' covered boat slip available on the property. We also provide you with the option to park at the Dog Days customer boat docks.

You'll have all the comforts of home during your stay. The vacation rental property comes with a coffee maker, dishwasher, dishes & utensils, kitchen appliances, washing machine & clothes dryer, linens, towels, an outdoor grill, internet access, and much more.

Our waterfront vacation rental is literally right next door to Dog Days Bar & Grill where you can enjoy, dining, drinking, live music on the weekends, and the best waterfront pools at the Lake of the Ozarks! Our pools are heated, so as long as the weather allows, we'll have them comfortable and ready for you. This location is also centrally located in Osage Beach so all kinds of activities, stores, attractions, and more are just a short drive or boat ride away. 

Great Dates to Book a Stay

You can always find an excellent list of local events by visiting www.Funlake.com so that you can coordinate your vacation at the Lake of the Ozarks with one of those. This time of year there are lots of fishing tournaments and fall festivals taking place. Many of the seasonal attractions are still open for business as well and you'll run into smaller crowds than you would mid-summer.

20th Annual Bogeys & Beer Golf Tournament

We are proud every year to be a part of this annual golf tournament where all of the proceeds benefit many local organizations. It consists of a shotgun start, cash prizes, 18-hole proxies, and silent & live auctions. A box lunch is included plus an awards dinner right here at Dog Days. Oh, and of course, beer! (Among other tasty refreshing adult beverages!)

34th Annual Fall Harbor Hop

Dog Days Bar & Grill will again be one of the many lakeside stops for this popular poker run on the water. As a matter of fact, we happen to be a 2-card stop! (Which makes it extremely convenient to stay here in our rental house!) A $20 donation allows you to collect 7 cards from any of the waterfront stops on the list and prizes are given out when it's over.

New Season - New Menus! Our Special Fall Food & Drink Menus at Dog Days

Autumn officially "falls" on Monday, September 23, 2019. We're bringing it to the menu at our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurant & bar a little earlier than that. This Friday, September 20, come in and be one of the first to get a taste of Dog Days Bar & Grill's newest specialty menus - Super Bowls and Fall Cocktails! 

Super Bowls
Fall and football go hand in hand and the Dog's incredibly talented Chef Kevin McCowan knows how to cook up a mean bowl of delicious flavors. (If you've tried any of the Beach Bowls at Dog Days, you'll know exactly what we're talking about!) We've combined those things in a very tasty way with our "Super Bowls" Fall Specialty Menu. 

Patty Mahomes Bowl
A hot and juicy house-blend burger patty with pepper jack cheese, grilled red onions, sweet and spicy championship BBQ sauce, and smoked pulled pork on toasted sourdough bread with sweet potato fries. 

Seattle Bowl
A half-pound of snow crab served with boiled new potatoes, corn, and shrimp drizzled in garlic butter. 

Cowboy Bowl
Seared whiskey garlic beef tenderloin tips and pickled peppers and onions served with a loaded baked potato. 

Carolina Bowl
Blackened jumbo shrimp on a bed of wilted creamed spinach with feta cheese served with wild rice and quinoa. 

New Orleans Bowl
Deep-fried banana putting bites with banana foster sauce and vanilla ice cream.

Cinnamon whiskey, banana liqueur, and a touch of butterscotch Schnapps blended with ice cream and banana puree. This is our boozy take on the dessert New Orleans made famous.

This easy-drinking IPA is loaded up with 4 varieties of American-grown hops and fruity flavors of pear and peach play off of resinous, piney notes. Crystal malt complements the bitterness for a well-balanced IPA.

The Best Burgers & Specialty Sandwiches at the Lake of the Ozarks

Anyone dining at our waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is sure to find something irresistible on the menu. We offer a wonderful variety of foods, including seafood, salads, steaks, specialty nachos, gourmet tacos, Beach Bowls, and more. 

Today's blog, however, will be taking a closer look at the best burgers and specialty sandwiches served daily at Dog Days Bar & Grill. With heaping helpings, fresh high-quality ingredients, and the addition of one of our delicious side dishes, these menu items are each fully satisfying meals. 

*Chef's Signature Burgers*

The Ozark
Our beef patty topped with bourbon BBQ, shoulder pepper bacon, and sharp cheddar cheese spread on a brioche bun. 

All American
A half-pound burger topped with American cheese on a toasted brioche bun served with crisp lettuce, fresh tomato, sweet onion, and pickles. Bacon is also available as an add-on. 

San Francisco Melt
Our Angus beef patty served on thick-sliced grilled sourdough with cheddar jack cheese, smoked bacon, green leaf lettuce, fresh sliced tomato, onion, and 1000 island dressing. 

The Old Fashioned
Two beef patties cooked on the griddle and topped with caramelized onions and American cheese on a brioche bun. 

Baja Burger
Our beef patty grilled and topped with pepper jack cheese, freshly sliced avocado, pickled jalapenos, and our Baja sauce on a brioche bun. 

Bacon Bleu Burger
Our beef patty grilled and topped with crisp bacon, crumbled bleu cheese, and bacon jam served on a cracked black pepper and sea salt brioche bun.

Dogwood Avocado Club
Shaved smoked turkey breast, ham, crisp bacon, green leaf lettuce, sliced tomato, fresh avocado, Swiss and American cheese, and garlic mayo on wheatberry bread. 

Blackened Mahi Sandwich
Our Southern spiced Mahi filet on a brioche bun served with green leaf lettuce, sliced tomato, onion, lemon, and tartar sauce. 

Steak & Cheese
Seared beef tender tips with provolone cheese on toasted French bread. Add-ons include peppers, onions, or mushrooms. 

Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich
Charbroiled chicken breast topped with smoked ham, grilled pineapple, teriyaki glaze, and Swiss cheese on a brioche bun. 

Grilled Chicken Sandwich
A 7-oz. chicken breast chargrilled on a brioche bun served with green leaf lettuce, sliced tomato, sweet onion, and mayo. Add-ons include bacon or avocado. 

Bourbon BBQ Pulled Pork
Slow-smoked pulled pork drizzled with our sweet bourbon BBQ sauce and spicy pickles on a cracked black pepper and sea salt brioche bun. 

Like we said before, these mouthwatering sandwiches and the best burgers at the Lake of the Ozarks aren't your only choices when you dine at Dog Days Bar & Grill. They are definitely great choices to make, but in reality, every dish on our menu is going to make you very, very happy! 

Currently, we are open 7 days a week beginning at 11:00 am and our awesome pools are open and waiting for you as well. (The water still feels amazing!) The lake area is an incredible place to be with all kinds of fun things to do year-round. 

For example, the Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest 2019 is going on this week and the Fall Harbor Hop is coming up in October. We've got some dates open this fall in our luxurious Lake of the Ozarks vacation house rental. Dog Days & Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson Are Teaming Up Again For Bikefest 2019

It's time once again for the Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest to take over the lake area! There will be plenty of food, fun, and excitement going on at Dog Days Bar & Grill that week, plus we're expanding our reach to the Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson store. The Top 5 Things To Do This Labor Day Weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks

It's time for another exciting Labor Day Weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks and we're willing to bet you're trying to figure out how to spend your extended weekend. Well, you're in luck because Dog Days Bar & Grill in Osage Beach has a list of the top 5 activities to enjoy over the holiday. (You're also in luck because they all just so happen to take place right here at our waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks! What a coincidence) 

Party
There are plenty of reasons, plenty of ways, and plenty of opportunities to party at the Dog. On Friday, August 30, we're offering a very special nostalgic party option with our Back to the 90s Party! This night will be all about that totally fly decade we all know and love. 

Diamond Producer and the mastermind behind Nelly's Country Grammar, Jay E, will be here performing an amazing poolside video set. There will be awesome giveaways and specials on Effen Vodka and Hornitos Tequila. Costumes are not required, but why pass up a chance to look that cool all over again? 
       

Try Logboat Beer
Every bar at the Dog (we've got 4 for you to choose from) are fully stocked with lots of different types of ice-cold, refreshing beer. Everyone has their favorites, but while you're here try a bit of "local flavor" and give Logboat Brewing Company out of Columbia, MO, a try. On Saturday, August 31, they are helping us host another Labor Day Log Jam along with the fine folks from the Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival. 

The Logboat team will be on hand with samples of their incredible craft brews plus we'll have some fun stuff to giveaway. That's the "Log" portion of this exciting event. The "Jam" part comes from the amazing live music that will be going on all afternoon into the evening. (More about that in the next section!)    

Dance
As we mentioned already, the Labor Day Log Jam will feature some fantastic live music, but we've also got more of the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks for you all weekend long! We won't force you to dance, but once you hear the talent coming from our stages, it's going to be hard to resist.

There is plenty of seating both inside the air-conditioned dining room and outdoors on our spacious lakeside decks. The most popular seats seem to be around the best pools at the Lake of the Ozarks, as well as inside the water too. We've got a family-friendly pool off to one side and a party-central pool for the grown-ups complete with tables & seats in the water and a fully-stocked swim-up bar. 

Park yourself in a colorful poolside lounge chair and stay awhile. You can see the outdoor stage from the water and we're happy to bring you lunch and dinner while you're here. There's really no need to go anyplace else! 

Dine & Drink Lakeside
You don't necessarily need to be in the water to enjoy our Labor Day Weekend. Simply enjoying the view of that amazing lake is relaxing all on its own. The view from every seat in the house is pretty spectacular, but the birds-eye view from the Woof Top Patio of the main channel will take your breath away! 

We've got a menu filled with a wide variety of dishes that are sure to satisfy the taste buds of everyone in your group - crab legs, burgers, gourmet tacos & nachos, wings, specialty sandwiches, salads, Beach Bowls, steak, pasta, tuna, and much, much more! 

If you're in the mood for something cold and refreshing to wash it all down with, we've got all of your favorites behind the bar. Rum Runners, Pain in the A**, Pina Coladas, margaritas... whatever you're thirsty for, we can very likely mix it up on the spot!

It's time for another of our amazing Labor Day Log Jams! You get the awesome atmosphere of Dog Days Bar & Grill combined with awesome entertainment thanks to the Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival team and tasty brews from our friends at Logboat Brewing Company.

Logboat will have samples of their delicious beer for you to try and there will be cool giveaways going on all afternoon. On stage, we've got incredible live music from The Burney Sisters. This dynamic sister duo will be performing their own original music which has a unique indie folk/pop sound. Once they're finished, the always entertaining Baub Eis Band will take the stage with their rock, blues, and jam-inspired musical mayhem.
