We are very proud to join many other Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bars & restaurants for the 2020 Support Our Troops Poker Run! The always awesome event takes place this Friday, June 26, and both begins and ends right here at Dog Days Bar & Grill!  

Start & Stop at the Dog
The Support Our Troops Poker Run is a full day of fun on the lake. Your pals here at Dog Days Bar & Grill have been tasked with making sure everyone has plenty of energy to get them going at the start and with hosting the whole gang after the poker run for a night of even more excitement. 

This annual boating event at the Lake of the Ozarks will begin at 10:00 am with breakfast at Dog Days. After that, everyone will be taking off in their boats for a full day of cruising & gathering poker cards. 

Helicopter photos will be taken in our no-wake zone at 3:00 pm before check-in. Beginning at 4:00 pm, it will be time to turn in those cards to see who ends up with the best hand! 

Once that's all taken care of, hang around for some dinner and live entertainment. DJ INNA will be spinning by the pool from 3-7 pm, followed by DJ Dr. Cheese from 7-11 pm. (See, it's just like we said earlier, a FULL day of fun!)     

Poker Run Stops
While our lakeside bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is where the poker run both begins and ends, there are lots of other awesome places to stop along the way to check out and pick up your poker cards. 

Here's a list of all the stops along this year's run. If you manage to get a punch at every single spot on the list, you'll be entered into a special prize drawing at the end of the poker run!

Poker Run Details
The cost to join in on this incredible poker run on the water is a minimum donation of $150. (But you are welcome to donate more if you're feeling generous!) 100% of all donations go directly to H.E.R.O.E.S. Care, which is an organization that is dedicated to working with others to provide support to military families in the communities where they live. 

You may also volunteer to give a military member a ride in your boat! If you've got some extra room, this is a simple way to say thank you to these brave men and women. You're bound to end the day with some brand new friends doing this too!

June at the Dog is Packed FULL of Fun & LIve Music

June has arrived and at Dog Days Bar & Grill in Osage Beach! That means a brand new month full of awesome events and spectacular live music taking place at our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant. Get out those calendars and get ready to fill them up with the awesome happenings going on at the Dog! 

Summer In-Water Boat Shows
Weekends, June 6-August 23
We hated the fact that the Annual LOMDA Spring In-Water Boat Show in the Dog Days' docks had to be canceled this year. To make up for that, the Lake of the Ozarks Marine Dealers Association is teaming up with us to bring a series of mini boat shows to our docks every weekend in June, July, and August 2020! (AquaPalooza and the 4th of July weekend are not included in this series.) 

Join many of your favorite Marine Dealers from around the lake area as they showcase some of their newest products right here at the 19MM. Different dealers will be featured each weekend and they'll have some incredible "toys" in the water, ready for you to test drive!  

Lake Jeep Invasion
Tuesday, June 9
The second Tuesday of every month at the Dog is now the home of a Jeep Invasion! The Lake of the Ozarks Jeep Club will be meeting up and you are all invited to join them. Park your jeeps lakeside in our lower parking lot. It's a chance to get together, mingle, and talk about all things "Jeep." As an added bonus, everyone bringing their jeep that evening will receive 10% off of their check.  

Saturday Afternoon Music by the Pool
Below you'll find a list of the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks coming to Dog Days in the evenings throughout June. In addition to that, we've also got incredible entertainment in store for you by the pool every Saturday afternoon, all season long! 

Hanging out poolside from 2:00-6:00 pm on Saturdays is a favorite around here, DJ Curt (aka, Ya Girl's Favorite DJ!) He plays a little bit of everything from A to Z and keeps the excitement high and the entertainment awesome!

Tons of Fun Coming Your Way November & December at the Lake of the Ozarks!

Even though Dog Days Bar & Grill closed down for the season last month, we've still got a long list of awesomeness coming your way during our off-season! Some of the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks is coming to the Dog in December & before that our sister restaurant, Wobbly Boots Roadhouse, is hosting a few incredible events that you won't want to miss. Get out your calendars and mark these dates down! 

Fireside Chat Wine Dinner
Every year Wobbly Boots Roadhouse in Osage Beach hosts a series of Fireside Chats featuring gourmet foods paired with high-end drinks. In the past, these dinners were always paired with amazing whiskeys but this year, they've added a few wine dinners to the schedule as well!

The next Fireside Chat will take place on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Space is limited, so you'll want to call 573-348-2277 right away to reserve your spot. This month, tickets are $60 per person for a 5-course meal paired with Jackson Family Wines. 

11th Annual Gala of Trees
Wobbly Boots Roadhouse is also the site of one of the best annual holiday event at the Lake of the Ozarks - the Gala of Trees! The entire restaurant will be filled with beautifully decorated Christmas trees and holiday wreaths that are available through a silent auction November 20-23, 2019. All proceeds from the tree and wreath sales will be given to Candyland and The Idiot's Club to purchase toys for local children. 

There are special events planned around the Gala of Trees all week leading up to the final night when winners are announced and a bonus live auction takes place.   

• Wednesday, 11/20 - Gala Kick-Off Party
  Tree-bidding opens at 11:00 am and at 5:30 pm, a private party is going on with Gala Punch, a special buffet, and prizes up for grabs. Tickets are $20 each.
• Friday, 11/22 - Cans For Christmas
  Bring in 5 non-perishable food items to the Boot to donate to a local food pantry and get half-off one of their delicious appetizers. (One per person)
• Saturday, 11/23 - Live Auction & Silent Auction Winners
  Immediately after the silent auction closes at 8:00 pm, a live auction for more wonderful holiday items will begin. 

December Concert at the Dog
We can't let them have all of the winter fun over at the Boot! We'll be opening the doors to your favorite waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks for a 1-night-only concert on Saturday, December 21, 2019. A Dog Days fan-favorite band, the Mixtapes, will be bringing their special brand of 90s party music to our stage! 

Opening for the Mixtapes will be Two Screws Loose. This will be their Dog Days debut and we expect you to love them right away! Tickets can be picked up in advance at Wobbly Boots Roadhouse for $10 each or you can pay $15 at the door on show night. Doors will open at 7:00 pm with music beginning at 8:00 pm. (Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for details about our special February Pre-Pub Crawl concert too!)

If you find yourself craving Dog Days Bar & Grill over the long winter months, satisfy that craving by letting us cater for you! Through the Barrett Restaurant Group, you can enjoy the best catering at the Lake of the Ozarks featuring the culinary creations of Dog Days, Shorty Pants Lounge, and Wobbly Boots Roadhouse. 

We can load up the catering van and bring the food to you or you can ask about renting out one of our private rooms. In some cases, we can open up Dog Days and Shorty Pants to host special events. Both restaurants have amazing Lake of the Ozarks vacation rental houses located next door that are available year-round. Wobbly Boots BBQ also features a private room complete with a cozy fireplace. Dog Days & Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson Are Teaming Up Again For Bikefest 2019

It's time once again for the Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest to take over the lake area! There will be plenty of food, fun, and excitement going on at Dog Days Bar & Grill that week, plus we're expanding our reach to the Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson store. Your favorite waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks will be there with a food & drink tent plus a stage full of incredible live music!

Bikefest 2019 Passport Stop

August = Pool Parties & Awesome Live Music at the Dog!

How are you enjoying summer so far? If you've been hanging out with us at Dog Days Bar & Grill, then you've definitely been having a blast! Well, get ready because August at our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant is going to keep the party going strong!

Join us for some poolside Sunday Fun Day with the good folks from Flipback. We're celebrating Shelly Flippo's birthday with this 1st Annual Pinkini Pool Party and you're all invited! 

Grab your favorite pink swimwear and chill with us by the pool. Ya girl's fav DJ, DJ Curt, will be spinning the perfect party music for all of you "pretty in pink" people. We'll also have specials on Effen, Zambu, and Frose (aka frozen rose.)  

As we mentioned earlier, that final weekend will be another one of our memorable holiday weekend blowouts. You'll have about a week and a half to rest up and then it's time for Bikefest, September 11-25! (If you've attended a Bikefest around here, you know you'll need plenty of rest to make it through all of those many days and nights of excitement!)

Meet the Bands of AquaPalooza 2019 at the Lake of the Ozarks

It's time for another one of the best annual boating events at the Lake of the Ozarks - AquaPalooza 2019! This Saturday, July 20 from noon-5 pm, Dog Days Bar & Grill will become a waterfront concert venue featuring 4 amazing bands. Thousands of people, both on the water and on dry land, will be here to enjoy the show and you need to be one of them! 

This FREE lakeside concert is the biggest one-day boating event at the Lake of the Ozarks. Hundreds of boats will fill the cove and in the water there will be people chilling out, floating, and having a great time in front of the stage. On land, there will be vendor booths, our incredible pools, and of course your favorite food & drinks being served all day long. 

On stage, that's where you'll find the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks! Here's a look at this year's AquaPalooza entertainment. 

Chris Weaver Band
This Americana/Rock band takes their influences from rock, blues, Motown, and general Americana music. They rocked the AquaPalooza stage in 2017 and already packed the Dog earlier this year in March.  

The Chris Weaver Band earned the chance to play on two of the best live music stages in Nashville, The Stage on Broadway and The Tin Roof. They were also named as one of the "Top 10 Acts to Follow" in 2013 by Billboard. That same year their song "California High" was used in the soundtrack of the motion picture "A Matter of Time." They have traveled the country opening for popular entertainers like John Mellencamp, Earth, Wind & Fire, Chicago, Heart, and more. The band has acquired a tremendous following in Brazil too. Don't miss your chance to hear them at AquaPalooza 2019!

SuperJam
The band's name invokes the glory of a bygone era. A time when the rock was so immense, only stadiums could contain it and that's exactly what this amazing group's sound will be bringing to you from the AquaPalooza stage! This mighty quintet of St. Louis rockers are bringing back the incredible days of screaming guitars, racks of keyboards, ear-splitting vocals, soul-crushing bass, and killer rock poses. 

Some of the spectacular re-creations they will treat you to include music by artists such as Asia, Billy Squier, Boston, Deep Purple, Foreigner, Journey, Kansas, Rush, Steve Miller Band, Styx, Queen, The Who, and many, many more. This is truly a musical experience you do not want to miss!  

Machine Gun Symphony
This face-melting 80s metal tribute band will have you thinking you traveled back in time! Exploding on stage amid a flurry of hairspray and screeching guitars, Machine Gun Symphony is not your typical cover band. They bring back an era where excess is a way of life and these musicians masterfully pay homage to the bands that created music to define a generation. Get ready to hear many of your favorites from Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, AC/DC, Poison, Guns 'N' Roses, and a whole lot more. 

Dirt Road Addiction
These fellas play loud and always come to party! They've got a rock/country sound that has been described as "Jump-Country." That's because people tend to crowd the stage and jump around to the infectious rhythms and electric vocals. You will be thoroughly entertained by a heavy mix of modern country, rock, and pop. They cover familiar hits you love as well as their own incredible original music. Dirt Road Addiciton's debut EP premiered in the spring of 2019 and debuted in the Top 10 of Country Music on iTunes and Amazon!

More Music, Before AND After!
Go ahead and plan to spend the entire weekend right here at our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurant & bar because our musical party is going on all weekend long! 

First up on Friday night, Dirt Road Addiction will hit the Dog Days stage. Once the AquaPalooza concert is over on Saturday, the Doc Cheese & Taz 1 Drum & DJ Show will continue the excitement poolside from 6-10 pm. But wait... there's more! From 10 pm-1 am the Chris Weaver Band will perform again and they'll also be back for another show on Sunday night.

You'll find the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks at Dog Days Bar & Grill every weekend with 1 or 2 acts playing. During AquaPalooza 2019 on Saturday, July 20, you get 1 concert filled with 4 amazing bands plus more awesome music before and after that!
