Have You Seen The Jack Daniels/ Indian Motorcycle Limited Edition Bikes?

Once again this year, your favorite waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is teaming up with Jack Daniels for the Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest. We gave you a lot of the details surrounding the Live Music & Awesome Food For Bikefest From Dog Days Bar & Grill we have planned for you in last week's blog. (Click that last link to read all about it!)

This week, we're featuring the amazing team-up between Jack Daniels and Indian Motorcycle that produces some of the most unbelievably awesome bikes we've ever seen! If you're interested in getting your hands on one when they do it again next year, you had better keep your eyes peeled for details when they go on sale and act fast! They sell out at lightning speed.

Limited Edition Jack Daniel's Motorcycles
Last year Jack Daniel's, America's 1st registered distillery, celebrated its 150th anniversary. To celebrate this momentous occasion, they partnered with Indian Motorcycle, America's 1st motorcycle company, to create two magnificent motorcycles: The Jack Daniel's Limited Edition Indian Chief and the Jack Daniel's Limited Edition Indian Springfield. Only 150 were made.

Every motorcycle was accompanied by an authentic Jack Daniel's barrel top, custom inscribed with the owner's name, bike model, bike number (#001-#150), and VIN. These very special motorcycles each featured:
  • Chrome Billet Drive and Passenger Floorboards
  • Chrome Headdress Shift Peg Chrome
  • Black Heated Seats
  • Black Speedometer Bezel
  • Black Feul Caps
  • Black Rear Lights Assembly
  • Black Fuel Gauge
  • Black Headdress Light
  • Black Fender Tips
  • Black Saddlebags
  • Black Tank Pouch

So Nice, They Did It Twice!
They were so blown away by the fact that they reached order capacity in only 8 hours last year, the two companies realized they had obviously stumbled upon something special that simply had to be repeated! The result was this year's new Jack Daniel's Limited Edition Indian Chieftain. Klock Werks Kustom Cycles joined the team to design this incredible vehicle.

The pre-orders for it sold out even faster than last year... in just 10 minutes! This time around, each motorcycle came with a commemorative America flag that was handmade from Jack Daniel's barrel wood, plus a customized plaque with the owner's name, motorcycle number (#001-#100) and VIN. This bike is a beautiful reminder that true American craftsmanship lives in the details! This year features included:
  • 10-inch, 10-spoke contrast cut front wheel and open fender
  • A pure silver Jack Daniel's horn cover badge, hand-crafted by Montana Silversmith
  • 1-of-a-kind white and black crystal paint job wiht Jack Daniel's-inspired charcoal-colored accents
  • Jack Daniel's "Old No. 7" billet driver and passenger floorboards
  • Debossed leather tank pouch with Jack Daniel's "Old No. 7"
  • Custom embossed tank console with unique build number
  • Unique cam, primary, and air intake covers
  • Inscription of Jack Daniel's "Bottles and Throttles Don't Mix" Mantra
  • 200-watt audio system including premium saddlebag audio

Safety First!
Pricing for the 2017 Indian Chieftain started at $34,999. The very 1st bike (#001) off the line in 2016 wasn't sold, but instead was auctioned off at $150,000, with the proceeds from that auction going to Operation Ride Home. This is a program that Jack Daniels hosts along with the Armed Services YMCA to help service members and their families make it home for the holidays.

They also want everyone to make it home safely on a daily basis. The very important message of "Bottles and Throttles Don't Mix," is the mantra that comes along with these bikes, and it is intended for anyone that chooses to drink. It is a reminder that drinking and riding are meant to be enjoyed separately. There will be plenty of time to enjoy a cocktail after your motorcycle, or car, is parked for the day.

All of us here at Dog Days Bar & Grill are very excited to see all of the different types of motorcycles that will roll through the lake area this week, and we're equally as excited to get to know as many of the riders as possible. We expect to see many of you at our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurant for your Bikefest Passport Ride stamp, plus lots of you at the live music stage, food tent, and bars we're hosting at the local Harley-Davidson store. For more information on the entire event, visit www.LakeBikefest.com. It's going to be an amazing week to be in the lake area. Ride safely!
