4 Surefire Ways to Enjoy Labor Day Weekend 2018 at the Lake of the Ozarks

We're ready for another exciting Labor Day Weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks this year at Dog Days Bar & Grill. We've taken the awesomeness we have for you every weekend, amplified it, and stretched it out to last all 3 days... and then some! (Our waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks will still be open 7 days a week after Labor Day too!) In regards to the upcoming Friday-Monday (which also happens to be Dog Days 25th anniversary!) we've got 4 things you've simply gotta do over the 3-day weekend to make it a memorable one.

Try Logboat Beer
All of the bars at the Dog (we've got 4 of them on site!) are fully stocked with lots of different ice-cold beer varieties, but on Saturday, Sept. 1, Logboat Brewing Co. out of Columbia, MO will be here giving out samples of their incredible local brews during our Labor Day Log Jam between 1-5 pm

They provide the "Log" portion of this exciting event, and the Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival, also out of Columbia, MO, is responsible for the "Jam" part of it. They are bringing one of the amazing bands from their annual festival to entertain you for the afternoon - The Flood Brothers. When you combine beer, blues, and the Dog, you know that's going to be an afternoon you do not want to miss!

Dance
The Flood Brothers aren't the only incredible entertainment hitting the Dog Days stages over the holiday weekend. You don't necessarily have to dance to enjoy the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks but be warned, their exciting music will at the very least have you tapping your toes from your seat!

Friday, August 31
-DJ Vinyl Richie, 6-10 pm
-The Chris Weaver Band, 10 pm-close

Saturday, September 1
-Labor Day Log Jam
with the Flood Brothers, 1-5 pm

-The Baub Eis Band, 6-10 pm

-The Chris Weaver Band, 10 pm-close

Sunday, September 2
-The Mixtapes

Chill in the Pool
We've got lots of room for you to sit and enjoy some delicious food and a few refreshing drinks. There's the air-conditioned dining room inside and lots of tables outdoors on our lakeside decks, in the Dog Pound tiki bar, and on top of our newest addition, the Woof Top Patio. The most popular seats in the house though are probably located in the water in the best lakeside pools at the Lake of the Ozarks!

There's plenty of room for the whole family to hang out together in the first pool. The larger pool is party central for the adults, with in-water tables to hold your drinks from the swim-up bar, plus colorful lounge chairs in the shallow spots so you can catch some sun. We're already relaxed just writing about it!

Dine & Drink Lakeside
Last, but certainly not least, you've gotta eat over the weekend. Doing that at Dog Days Bar & Grill guarantees that you'll have access to food that is filling and delicious, plus drinks that will quench your thirst and taste fantastic going down!

We've got a menu filled with a wide variety of dishes sure to satisfy the taste buds of everyone in your group - crab legs, burgers, gourmet nachos & tacos, wings, specialty sandwiches, salads, Beach Bowls, steak, pasta, tuna, and much, much more! There are lots of wonderful non-alcoholic drink choices available, but if you're in the mood for something with a tasty kick, our fully stocked bars have got you covered!

Whether you're traveling by car or by boat, you've simply got to make your way on over to everyone's favorite waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks this Labor Day Weekend. If it's not already, make a trip to Dog Days Bar & Grill a holiday weekend tradition!

The Best Live Music at the Lake of the Ozarks Labor Day Weekend 2018

We always give you the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks, no matter what weekend it is. This Labor Day Weekend 2018, we're outdoing even ourselves! In addition to our regularly scheduled weekend entertainment, we're also hosting another Labor Day Weekend Log Jam with Logboat Brewing Company and the Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival. Labor Day Log Jam
Once again, we're bringing back a Dog Days holiday weekend favorite - the Log Jam! From 1-5 pm on Saturday, September 1, the Logboat Brewing Co. out of Columbia, MO, will be on hand with their delicious Missouri-brewed beers for you to sample and enjoy, plus they'll have all kinds of fun stuff to giveaway.

A band that was a favorite in the past at the Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival in Columbia, MO, will be entertaining the crowd at our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant during the Log Jam - The Flood Brothers

This 2-man band out of Hannibal, MO, is described as a "Thump Machine" whose infectious melodies and animal rhythms will have your bones shakin' outta your boots! Their performances are energetic, heavily influenced by early rock 'n' roll and the bluesy sounds of Memphis and Northern Mississippi.

You won't only be shakin' it on the dance floor during the Log Jam on Saturday, but also after it's over, and on Friday & Sunday too! Check out the awesome entertainers we have lined up for you.
