Dog Days wants to be the first to let you know about the Get Down Guide at the Lake of the Ozarks! The totally redesigned and revamped guide is designed to keep you up to date on the Lake's hottest parties, live music, and all other forms of entertainment. With this guide, you'll never again have trouble deciding what to do with your evening!

The Get Down Guide dedicates one or two pages to each individual participating restaurant, highlighting their menu, specials, and entertainment schedule for the 2014 season. This innovative guide also features a comprehensive calendar that puts every restaurant's events in one easy-to-read place.

Dog Days Bar & Grill, along with our sister restaurants Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina and Wobbly Boots Roadhouse, is super excited to participate in the 2014 edition of the guide! All of our main events are on there, such as the weekly Country Showdown at Dog Days, Aquapalooza, the full music schedule for Shorty Pants, and happy hour at Wobbly Boots!!

Aquapalooza Is Only One Month Away!!

What was your favorite event at the Lake of the Ozarks last year?

That's right! The one and only AquaPalooza at Dog Days Bar & Grill!!

On Saturday, July 19th, your favorite Lakefront restaurant will host one of the Lake's best annual events. The festivities will take place from 12:00-5:00pm, so come out early and make a day of it!

 AquaPalooza draws people from all over the state. The live music always contributes to the day's atmosphere, and this year shouldn't be any different! Dog Days has an awesome lineup scheduled, featuring all your favorite music from the 80s!

• Hells Bells, America's #1 AC/DC Tribute Band
• Hells Bells has been touring 42 states and multiple countries for the last 15 years. Complete with authentic costuming, this high-energy band will deliver all the adrenaline of an actual AC/DC concert.

Canine Cannonball At Dog Days This Weekend!!

What?? The 8th Annual Canine Cannonball!

When?? Friday-Sunday, June 6-8!

Where?? Dog Days Bar and Grill in Osage Beach, Missouri!

Man's best friend will soar through the air and make a huge splash in competition to see who is the top dog Canine Cannonball is a DockDogs-sponsored, dock-jumping competition that has been an annual event at the Lake of the Ozarks since 2007. Dog Days Bar & Grill, located at 1232 Jeffries Road on land or at the 19-mile marker on the water, has been the lakeside host of the Cannonball since its inception. This furry aerial competition is a crowd favorite at Dog Days and has attracted an estimated 5,000 spectators on each day of the competition.

"Canine Cannonball is an exciting event for families and dog lovers," said Dog Days owner and event organizer Mark Barrett. "It's outdoors, it's on the Lake, it has a bunch of loveable dogs showing off their athletic abilities and if you like music, bands are playing live at Dog Days. It is the perfect fit for people who are traveling to the Lake and looking for a fun way to spend the weekend."   

The concept of dock jumping as a performance sport for dogs originated in the U.S. when dock workers would bet on how far their dogs could jump into the water. Since 2000, Dock Dogs has been the independent governing and sanctioning body for regional, national and international dock-jumping events for dogs. DockDogs tracks each official jump of all competitors and dogs are ranked nationally. The sport is both serious business and a lot of fun for both dog and owner. Dock-jumping athletes and their owners can sometimes train together for a half hour or more each day in their respective events to hone their skills. 

All Canine Cannonball activities are free for spectators. Money raised at the event through donations will benefit the Dogwood Animal Shelter, a no-kill shelter in Osage Beach. The Shelter will also have pets available for adoption on-site during the three-day meet. According to Dogwood Animal Shelter officials, these pets have been given all required shots at the time of adoption.

Red Bull Fire Truck Featuring DJ Greasy - Only at Dog Days!!

Over the last year or two, several states have gotten to experience the hottest new thing in music. Now, for one day only, Dog Days Bar and Grill is bringing it right to your back door...

A fire truck turned into a 

mobile DJ booth!!

The Red Bull Fire Truck redefines everything you thought you knew about music and DJs. All the classic flash of a fire truck is still there, including sirens, horns, and lights, but they've added much, much, more. This mind-blowing machine features one 60-inch television, two 32-inch televisions, two XBOX's, four speakers with built in subs, and two additional subs! 

The vehicle boasts two retractable branded awnings and increased interior space in order to accommodate as many people as possible. Equipped with cushioned bench-style seating, a wet bar, cooler, and a sink, this lean mean music machine promises one exciting afternoon!

The Red Bull Fire Truck will appear at Dog Days Bar and Grill Lake of the Ozarks on Saturday, May 31st from 2:30-5:30pm. DJ Greasy will bring this amazing creation to life, mixing music from all decades and all genres.
