Don't Miss This Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pre-Pub Crawl Concert at the Dog!

Even though Dog Days Bar & Grill is closed for the season when the Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl is happening every February, that doesn't stop us from getting in on the action! We're planning a very special concert event the night before the Lake Pub Crawl featuring Machine Gun Symphony and you are all invited!

Better make plans now to spend the entire weekend of the Lake Pub Crawl in town. While Saturday is the "main event," on Friday we're starting the party a night early with some of the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks. Drinks will be flowing and the Dog Days stage will be rocking with one of our favorite bands - Machine Gun Symphony!

This face-melting 80s metal tribute band will have you thinking you traveled back in time! Exploding on stage amid a flurry of hairspray and screeching guitars, Machine Gun Symphony is not your typical cover band. They bring back an era where excess is a way of life and these musicians masterfully pay homage to the bands that created music to define a generation. Get ready to hear many of your favorites from Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, AC/DC, Poison, Guns 'N' Roses, and a whole lot more.

Before Machine Gun Symphony takes the stage, The Grasshopper Unit will get the party going. Their tribute to the Beastie Boys is bound to make them one of your new favorite bands!

You can get your tickets ahead of time at Wobbly Boots Roadhouse for just $10 each. If you wait until the night of the show, they will be $15 each at the door. Those doors and our fully stocked bar will open at 7:00 pm with the music beginning at 8:00 pm. Party hard on Friday night at your favorite waterfront bar at the Lake of the Ozarks, then sleep in to rest up for the Lake Pub Crawl Saturday afternoon!

Since you're already in town this weekend for the Machine Gun Symphony concert at the Dog, you might as well stick around on Saturday for one of the best annual events at the Lake of the Ozarks too! The 19th Annual Lake Pub Crawl will begin at 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 8, and keep on going until the bars have to shut down for the night at 1:00 am.

A $10 wristband will get you into every participating bar & restaurant all evening long, each featuring their own live music. That wristband will also give you access to the many Mardi Gras Pub Crawl busses offering a sober ride from 4:00 pm-2:30 am. If you're looking for a deliciously good time this month, reserve your seats for the gourmet Fireside Chat Whiskey Dinner at our sister restaurant Wobbly Boots Roadhouse in Osage Beach. On Tuesday, January 21, 2020, the Dog's very own talented chef Kevin McCowan will be created culinary delights any foodie could fall in love with.

Each course of this gourmet dinner will be paired with a different featured whiskey. Seating is limited, so be sure to stop by the Boot to reserve your spot (and pick up your Dog Days Machine Gun Symphony concert tickets while you're there) or give them a call at 573-348-2277. A Week of Excitement - Bogeys & Beer AND the Fall Harbor Hop!

If someone tries to tell you that the lake area is boring once summer is over, then they're looking for fun in all the wrong places! Coming up very soon at Dog Days Bar & Grill we've got two awesome annual events happening in the very same week! Plus, our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant, heated pool included, is still open 7 days a week. Fall at the lake is amazing when you know where to go!

Bogeys & Beer Golf Tournament
Thursday, October 10
If you enjoy golf, beer, and spending an entire day outside having the time of your life, then this is the perfect event for you. The money raised goes to some very deserving local organizations too, so you're even helping the community while you have some fun!

The 20th Annual Bogeys & Beer Benefit Golf Tournament is taking place at The Oaks at Margaritaville in Osage Beach. Registration will begin at 10:00 am with a shotgun start happening at 11:00 am. Tons of prizes are up for grabs, there will be all kinds of tasty drinks to enjoy, and a box lunch is being provided by Mexicali Blues.

There are 3 levels of team sponsorships available, plus another level for anyone wanting to donate but not necessarily play. (These levels are detailed in the flyer below. Download a registration flyer here. ) Once the tournament is over, everyone will be heading to Dog Days Bar & Grill for an event dinner. There will be some terrific silent and live auction items for you to bid on too.

Fall Harbor Hop
Saturday, October 12
You'll have Friday to recover from Bogeys & Beer but then it's time to hop on the boat and collect a winning poker hand for the 34th Annual Fall Harbor Hop! In case the concept is new to you, here's how it works.

A $20 donation made at any of the participating stops allows you to begin "hopping" across the lake from place to place picking up a card at each venue until you have a full hand of seven. (Dog Days Bar & Grill happens to be a 2-card stop, which means you can plan to spend a little extra time here hanging out with us. Be sure to bring your suit because our pools are heated!)

You can find a full list of stops, prizes available, and rules by visiting www.Funlake.com/HarborHop. As long as you have your hand turned in by 7:00 pm that day, you will be in the running for some great prizes. The talented Steven Moore will entertain our crowds during the day and once you're done hopping, be sure to head back to the Dog to dance the night away with DJ Curt.
