The Best Burgers at the Lake of the Ozarks Are Made at Dog Days Bar & Grill!

A quick look through the menu at our waterfront restaurant & bar at the Lake of the Ozarks shows you that we offer a wide variety of different types of food. For example, if you're craving savory seafood, incredible salads, specialty nachos, gourmet tacos, fresh Beach Bowls, or signature entrees, we've got you covered. (And that's not even all of it!) 



Today, however, this blog is focusing on another favorite food from Dog Days Bar & Grill in Osage Beach. Here is a closer look at our Chef's Signature Burgers! (What we believe to the be the best burgers at the Lake of the Ozarks, but we'll let you be the final judge on that.) With generous patties, fresh toppings, and the addition of one of our delicious side dishes, these burgers are each a fully satisfying meal.  

Chef's Signature Burgers
All of the burgers served at Dog Days are made up of a half-pound of quality Angus beef. It's a mixture of 60% chuck, 20% brisket, and 20% short rib which creates a full-flavored, juicy, make-your-mouth-water burger! 




You are welcome to start from scratch and make your own burger creation with the toppings of your choice. First, though, check out the incredible signature burgers that our chef came up with this year. Also, you may upgrade the bun on the following burger creations with a gluten-free bun or a pretzel bun for a small additional charge.

All American
Topped with American cheese, or you can substitute the cheese of your choice. (Listed below) It's served on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle on the side. 

The Ozark 
Sharp cheddar cheese spread, pecan-smoked shoulder bacon, and bourbon BBQ sauce served on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle on the side. 

The Old Fashion
Two thin quarter-pound beef patties smashed on the griddle and topped with sauteed onions, American cheese, and pickles on a brioche bun. 

Kimchi Burger
Sauteed Kimchi and red onion sandwiched between two quarter-pound patties and topped with Kohlrabi ginger slaw and gouchajang mayo on a pretzel bun. 



Baja Burger
Pepper jack cheese, jalapeno, avocado, and chipotle ranch on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle on the side.

Blackened Bacon Bleu
A blackened half-pound burger topped with bacon jam, melted blue cheese crumbles, and crisp bacon on a salt and pepper brioche bun.

The Inferno 
A pepper dry-rubbed burger patty chargrilled and then topped with ghost pepper cheese, sauteed onions, fresh jalapenos, and a hot honey inferno sauce. You may want to add a side of ice cream to cool the burn! 

San Francisco Melt 
Melted cheddar jack cheese, smoked bacon, fresh green leaf lettuce, tomato, and onion with 1000 Island dressing on grilled sourdough bread. 

Additional Toppings
  • Sliced Cheese (American, Swiss, Pepper Jack, Cheddar, Provolone, Shredded Cheddar Jack, Provel)
  • Hickory-Smoked Bacon
  • Sauteed Mushrooms
  • Sauteed Onions
  • Sauteed Peppers
  • Avocado
  • Bleu Cheese Crumbles
  • Jalapenos
  • Slaw
  • Grilled Pineapple
