The events at Dog Days Bar and Grill are just about to kick off!!! We were VOTED BEST WATERFRONT RESTAURANT at Lake of the Ozarks, BEST ENTERTAINMENT and TOP 10 WATER BAR IN THE NATION and We are living up to these titles!!  We have another season planned that is filled with fun and excitement at the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks.

What's for Lunch at Dog Days Bar & Grill??

Dog Days is the perfect place for lunch!!  Whether you are having a business lunch, girls day, family gathering or you're just plain hungry, Dog Days has something on the menu to please everyone!!!  We offer a wide variety of items to choose from and you can enjoy the beautiful views from the patio of  Lake Ozarks Best Waterfront Restaurant!!

Many of our guests choose from our soups, salads and wraps because they are quick and always satisfying.  Here are a few of the great items to choose from our menu!!

• BBQ Pork Salad - a little sampling from our sister restaurant Wobbly Boots BBQ - award winning pulled pork mixed with a blend of fresh greens and crisp cabbage, corn, red peppers, red onions, served with BBQ sauce and ranch.  Served with Garlic toast.  
• Dogwood Club - We stuff this double-decker with Hickory Smoked Ham, Turkey and Bacon, then add lettuce, tomato, Swiss and American Cheese and our house made avocado mayonnaise.
• Asian Tuna Salad - 6 oz of Ahi Tuna seared rare, set atop a blend of crisp cabbage and spring mix, corn, red peppers, red onions and fried won-ton strips, drizzled with Asian sesame dressing.
• Shrimp & Avocado Wrap - Sauteed shrimp and rich avocados paired with crisp celery, roasted garlic mayo, with a hint of lemon juice wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla with fresh greens.
• California Turkey Wrap - Lean, Hickory Smoked breast of Turkey, sprouts, lettuce, and tomato topped with avocado mayo and provolone in a sun dried tomato wrap.

The Top Appetizers at Dog Days Bar & Grill

Dog Days has a full menu of satisfying items with a wide array of appetizers! With so many great items, we weren't sure which ones to feature.  So we asked our Staff and here are their choices for the Top Appetizers at Dog Days Bar & Grill!! 

Prime Rib Sliders - 3 Sliders stuffed with house-smoked prime rib, balsamic red onions and blue cheese crumbles

Crab Legs - Steamed sweet and succulent snow crab legs served with drawn butter 1lb * 2lb

Seafood Nachos - Tri-colored tortilla chips topped with shrimp, bay scallops and real crab meat, then smothered in a white pepper queso and finished with tomatoes and jalepenos.

Coconut Shrimp  - Sweet coconut and crunchy frosted flakes combine to send these huge gulf shrimp over the top. Served with a raspberry habanero sauce.

And of course, we are always serving up ice cold Budweiser products to wet your whistle and get you ready for some great appetizers and a mouth watering meal!!

Dog Days features a variety of live music including National and Regional rock, blues, and country bands on both our inside and outside stages. Home of the Spring (April) In Water Boat Show and Canine Cannonball, a championship Dog Jumping Competition!  Dog Days is also home to the largest free concert at the Lake – Aquapalooza coming every July! Spring has arrived and Summer is just around the corner - And every "season" at the Lake of the Ozarks brings friends and families to come and visit.  Although we all love the guests, it can become a hassle to cook, clean and entertain.  Now, we won't come and clean your house but we have a great entertainment schedule and we can provide some of the best catering at the Lake of the Ozarks that is sure to please any guest!!! 

The Barrett Restaurant Group can bring the power of three diverse restaurants to any party.  We offer on-premise facilities including Dog Days, The Dog Pound, Shorty Pants Lounge, and Wobbly Boots BBQ - Or, if you like, we can bring the party to you!! Our experienced staff will help you create a personal catering experience to your liking. We can custom design menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, reception, seminar breaks or summer parties.  With three different restaurants combined, we are able to pull together a great catering menu that will allow you a wide variety of options.  

In order to provide the best products and service to your guests, events are scheduled on a first come, first served basis.  We will work with you to develop a menu and a quote.  When you are ready to guarantee a date and time for your event, you will need to confirm with our sales office in advance.

The Legend of Kissing the Blarney Stone

Looking for a sure-fire way to gain the Irish charm and silver tongue?   According to urban legend, a simple kiss of the Blarney stone will transform you into the king of all Casanovas!!!

Obviously, the powers of the Blarney Stone are absolutely UN-Deniable - but to say that the kiss is simple, might have been a wee bit of an overstatement on our part...

First of all the Blarney Stone is located in the Blarney Castle, near the town of Blarney in Cork, Ireland.  Secondly, the kiss does not come without risk of life and limb!!  In order to actually kiss the blarney stone, one has to lean backwards, hold onto an iron railing over an open chasm upside down  and kiss the stone while partially suspended in the air!!  So what  would drive people to take such chances?  Apparently, even the slightest chance of acquiring the silver tongue and charm of the Irish will drive thousands of people to the castle each year.

Now, Dog Days can't offer you the chance to kiss the Blarney Stone, but we do serve BEER and according to urban legend, the Irish LOVE beer (who knew, right?).  So put on your favorite green shirt, get over to Dog Days, save yourself a life-threatening experience, and have a cold beer....I can feel the Irish Charm already :)

Dog Days Bar & Grill reopens for the 2013 Season!!!

Dog Days Bar and Grill will reopen for the 2013 season this Friday, March 8th!!!  

Dog Days has the Best Entertainment and has been voted the Best Waterfront Restaurant at the Lake!!  Whether you want to sip on one of our signature frozen cocktails, enjoy a nice dinner with your family or dance the night away with one of our live bands, Dog Days is the place to be!

We believe 2013 is going to be a great year.  We have several events already locked in and we are in the process of putting together our 2013 season band schedule.  We are bringing back some favorite events like In Water Boat Show, Canine Cannonball and Aquapalooza!  You can also enjoy a variety of live music including National and Regional rock, blues and country bands on both our inside and outside stages.

Centrally located, just west of the Grand Glaize Bridge, 1st right onto Jefferies Road or 19MM by water. in the heart of Osage Beach, Dog Days Bar and Grill is easy to find no matter if you are traveling by land or by water. We have plenty of parking for your boat or your car.

Celebrate Mardi Gras Pub Crawl at Wobbly Boots BBQ!!

Wobbly Boots Schedule for the Mardi Gras Pub Crawl!

The 2013 Pub Crawl is coming up and Wobbly Boots is gearing up for a great night.  There will be a few changes to our normal schedule to accommodate the BIGGEST PUB CRAWL EVER!! 

Below is an outline of the this weekends events:

Friday Night:

• Wobbly Boots Pub Crawl Kickoff part with Dale Blue at 8 pm

Saturday

• Regular kitchen hours 11am - 2pm
• Main kitchen closes at 3pm to transition to Pub Crawl set up
• Street Food/Party Tent open at 3pm
• Pub Crawl begins at 4pm 
• Dale Blue begins at 4:30pm
• DJ Vinyl Richey starts at 9pm

After 4pm, you must have a Pub Crawl wrist band and a valid photo ID for admission. 

We hope everyone will come out for a great night of partying! Be sure to find a designated driver or leave your keys at home and enjoy the free transportation provided by the Pub Crawl.
