The next big event that Dog Days Bar & Grill is getting ready for is the 31st Annual Fall Harbor Hop on Saturday, October 8, 2016. We realize that everyone is busy that day trying to hit as many stops as possible. Rather than a big meal, you may prefer a quick bite, and your favorite waterfront restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks has a giant Starters Menu full of flavor for you to order from. 
   

Hickory Smoked Wings
We take our Award Winning smoked wings and toss them with your choice of sauce, then serve them up with celery and ranch or bleu cheese dressing. Sauce choices include:

• Original
• Extra Hot
• BBQ
• Teriyaki
• Spicy Garlic
• Honey Habanero

Buffalo Chicken Dip
This zesty and creamy dip features the great taste of buffalo chicken wings without all the mess! Topped with melted Mozzarella cheese and served with corn tortilla chips.

Chicken Tenders

We hand bread and fry five chicken tenders, then serve them with your choice of dipping sauce. For an added kick, try them tossed in any of our wing sauces. 

Nachos
Corn tortilla chips smothered in chili con queso, pico de gallo, and jalapenos. Served with salsa and sour cream on the side. Feel like adding some meat? Try:

• Jerk Chicken
• Seafood

Thai Tuna Nachos
Ahi tuna is diced and served chilled, tossed in our Thai chile sauce and sweetened soy, on top of crisp wonton chips, fresh mango, wakame, pickled ginger, and drizzled with Wasabi cream.

Crab Rangoon
A delicious blend of crab meat, cream cheese, and herbs stuffed in 6 crispy wonton skins. Served with a sweet and sour mango dipping sauce.

Cheesy Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms
Jumbo mushroom caps packed full of house blend sausage, green onions, and cream cheese, all topped with melted mozzarella and toasted bread crumbs.

Fried Pickles
An Ozark Favorite! Hand breaded garlic pickle slices fried golden brown and served with jalapeno ranch dressing.

Bacon Wrapped Meatballs
Our house blend sausage wrapped with smoky bacon, then tossed in cheddar and bourbon BBQ sauce and served with garlic bread. 

Asian Ahi Tuna
A fresh Ahi tuna filet seared and served chilled with fresh slaw, Asian ginger sauce, and spicy wasabi. 

Quesadilla
A large crispy flour tortilla with a blend of cheddar jack cheese, black beans, black olives, pico do gallo, and your choice of meat melted together. Served with salsa and sour cream on the side. Choices include:

• Jerk Chicken
• Shrimp

Crab Legs
Boiled in our secret spices, these sweet, succulent snow crab legs are served with lemon and drawn butter. 

We'll get your order in and served up quickly so that you can head to your next Harbor Hop stop, but you don't have to be in a big hurry to leave. Our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar is offering 2 card pickup points this year, so we're like 2 stops in 1! Plus, the always entertaining Noe Palma will be performing from 1-5 pm, and you don't want to miss that. Dog Days Bar & Grill is still open 7 days a week at 11 am, and the weather is still awesome. We get a lot of visitors all summer long, but once fall arrives, people seem to think that they are too busy to have any fun. That's just silly! Your favorite waterfront restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is open 7 days a week, and the weather is fantastic! Still need a little convincing that you deserve to have some fun with us? #5 - We're still serving our incredible full menu.
All of the same delicious dishes that you enjoyed all summer long are still coming out of our kitchen. Bacon Wrapped Meatballs, Seafood Nachos, our Chef's Signature Burgers, Crab Legs, the Mahi Mahi Sandwich, and everything else you've come to love. You can even still get our Late Night Menu every Friday & Saturday from 10 pm-midnight so you'll have plenty of energy to keep the party going.

We've still got some of the best annual events at the Lake of the Ozarks coming up in the next few weeks. On Wednesday, September 28, the always fun Bogeys & Beer Golf Tournament will be taking place, with the amazing after-party and auction happening right here at Dog Days. After that, on Saturday, October, 8, the Fall Harbor Hop will be in full swing all over the lake area. Bikefest, Bogeys, & Beer... Oh Yeah!

Your favorite waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks has some pretty exciting events coming up soon. This very week, the annual Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest will descend upon our beautiful area. Soon after that, Dog Days Bar & Grill is proud to be a part of the annual Bogeys & Beer Golf Tournament. It's not too early to claim your team's spot for the most fun tourney of the year!

Last week we told you all about the great live music & your chance to win a new Harley at Bikefest 2016. The Dog Days stages will be filled with your favorite musicians Friday night and all afternoon and evening on Saturday. In addition to the talent we'll be hosting, you can also enjoy incredible live music at Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson every day of Bikefest, September 15-18, 2016. 

LO Harley-Davidson is also the site of the Official Passport Booth where you will turn in your completed Bikefest passports. Spend the week traveling to 24 locations around the lake area, including Dog Days Bar & Grill and our sister restaurants, Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina and Wobbly Boots Roadhouse, then turn in your completed passport for a chance to win that gorgeous 2015 Harley-Davidson Street Bob Breakout Motorcycle. This is an amazing day full of golf, drinking, fun, and the opportunity to raise money for many wonderful local organizations. All proceeds raised will benefit: Lamb House, Kid's Harbor, Kiwanis Club, L.A.N.I., and CADV.   

A box lunch will be provided for players from Mexicali Blues. Top golfers will earn cash prizes, and there will also be 18 hole proxies. Once you finish the course, we'll all head over to Dog Days Bar & Grill for dinner, awards, and bidding on both live and silent auction items.

This month the lake area will host motorcycle lovers from all over the country for the 10th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest taking place September 15-18, 2016. Dog Days Bar & Grill is one of many biker-friendly restaurants and bars that are looking forward to hosting all of them during this exciting event.

Get Your Passport Filled - Win a Harley!

Once again this year, our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurant is thrilled to be a stop for the Bikefest Passport Program. For a $20 entry donation, participants will be given a passport to be stamped at participating locations. You are welcome to complete more than one passport, and registration may take place at any of the stops. Completed passports must be turned in at the "Official Passport Booth" at Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson no later than 2 pm on Sunday during Bikefest. 

There are 24 stops on the route this year, and you will want to get a stamp from each one so that your passport will be entered into the grand prize drawing. Only one prize will be given away, but it's an awesome one: a 2015 Harley-Davidson Street Bob Breakout Motorcycle! You can find a complete list of rules and more details at www.LakeBikeFest.com.
