The Texaco Country Showdown has returned to Dog Days Bar & Grill. This is the 32nd year for the nationwide event and it's America's largest Country music talent show. The show was formed to find the up and coming country music artists and provide them a chance to launch their career. The Country Showdown begins each spring with over 450 local artists, like the one we have at Dog Days Bar & Grill and advance local winners to a state competition held at fairs and other venues. Winners of the state will take the title, $1000 prize and the opportunity to advance to one of the Regional Finals. The final competition is the televised National Final where the winner receives the Grand Prize of $100,000 and the title of "Best New Act in Country Music."
If you would like to compete for the next Texaco Country Showdown title, fill out the registration form and read our Rules and regulations. The competition is every Wednesday Night at Dog Days Bar & Grill in Osage Beach. The finals will be held on August 7, so be sure to get registered soon and bring your friends to Dog Days to cheer you on!!!
