Looking for a delicious start to your meal or a perfect midday snack? Try our zesty and creamy Buffalo Chicken Dip, which features the grand flavor of Buffalo chicken wings without all the mess! The dip is served with tortilla chips for the optimum dipping experience.

Looking for something a little more exotic? Our Seared Ahi Tuna could be perfect for you! Enjoy seared Ahi tuna, served chilled with fresh slaw, Asian ginger dressing, and wasabi. YUM!

Salads & Sandwiches

Dog Days is here to expand your salad horizons! We offer your favorite Classic Caesar and Garden salads, but we can also deliver so much more! Try our Cobb Salad, a plate of crisp greens generously topped with ham, turkey, bacon, eggs, avocado, tomatoes, red onions, and feta cheese - served with garlic toast!

If you're looking for a truly amazing sandwich, look no further than the delicious Dogwood Club or Steak and Cheese! The double-decker Dogwood Club is stuffed with hickory-smoked ham, turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, Swiss and American cheese, and our house-made avocado mayonnaise. The Steak and Cheese features sensational strips of beef tenderloin, grilled and smothered with provolone cheese on a toasted French Roll.

Sugary Sweets

Finish your meal off right! Enjoy a bowl of deliciously classic vanilla ice cream served with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and a cherry, all wrapped up in one fabulous ice cream sundae. Or, treat yourself to our Chocolate Cobbler: a decadent Hershey's chocolate experience topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.

Dog Days Staff Pick their FAVORITE Appetizers

Dog Days has a full menu of satisfying items with a wide array of appetizers! With so many great items, we weren't sure which ones to feature.  So we asked our Staff and here are their choices for the Top Appetizers at Dog Days Bar & Grill!! 

Crab Legs - Steamed sweet and succulent snow crab legs served with drawn butter 1lb * 2lb

Prime Rib Sliders - 3 Sliders stuffed with house-smoked prime rib, balsamic red onions and blue cheese crumbles

Seafood Nachos - Tri-colored tortilla chips topped with shrimp, bay scallops and real crab meat, then smothered in a white pepper queso and finished with tomatoes and jalepenos.

Coconut Shrimp  - Sweet coconut and crunchy frosted flakes combine to send these huge gulf shrimp over the top. Served with a raspberry habanero sauce.

And of course, we are always serving up ice cold Budweiser products to wet your whistle and get you ready for some great appetizers and a mouth watering meal!!

Dog Days features a variety of live music including National and Regional rock, blues, and country bands on both our inside and outside stages. Home of the Spring (April) In Water Boat Show and Canine Cannonball, a championship Dog Jumping Competition!  Dog Days is also home to the largest free concert at the Lake – Aquapalooza coming every July! Another Great Season For Dog Days Bar & Grill

What does the Dog Days crew do in the winter?  Just because the doors are closed does not mean the Dog is hibernating.  We work hard all winter long to make sure we are up and running when you come back in the Spring!!

There are two things we focus on during the bitter winter months.  

1. How do we make the next season even better than the last?
2. Catering and private parties at Lake of the Ozarks.

The planning has already begun for the 2013 season because we want to make sure every year is even better than the previous one.  The bands, the events, the drinks, the food, the staff - we review everything - and try to find ways to improve the Lake of the Ozarks BEST Entertainment, our Menu, our service and the satisfaction of all our customers.   Feel free to comment on some of your favorite foods, bands or drinks on our Facebook Page - we appreciate your input and want to make sure you keep coming back for more!!

 We also continue to Cater throughout the winter!! Even though some of our facilities are closed, the Barrett Restaurant Group will still bring the power of three diverse restaurants to you and your party. Depending on the size of your party, we can offer on-premise facilities including Dog Days, The Dog Pound, Shorty Pants Lounge, and Wobbly Boots BBQ!  We can also accommodate a smaller party by bringing the party to you! Our experienced staff will help you create a personal event to your liking. We can custom design menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, reception, or seminar breaks.

We strive to provide the best products and services to your guests and schedule all events on a first come, first serve basis. To guarantee a date and time for a catering event, you must book and confirm your event in advance with our sales office.

At Dog Day's Bar and Grill, we think we have some of the Finest Bartenders at the Lake of the Ozarks.  They work hard to serve up the best drinks to keep you coming back for more.  We are always getting requests for recipes for our signature drinks and today we present you with two of our Bartender's favorites!!!


Rainbow Red Hurricane

1 ounce Captain Morgan Parrot Bay Coconut Rum
1 ounce Peach Schnapps
1 ounce Apple Pucker Schnapps
1 ounce Watermelon Pucker Schnapps
2 ounces Orange Juice
2 ounces Cranberry Juice
2 ounces Pineapple Juice
Serve Tall

Dog Days Walker
2 ounces Premium Jeremiah Weed
Top with Cranberry Juice
Splash of Water to Taste

The 4th Annual Duck Drop at Lake of the Ozarks

The Ozark Coast Kiwanis is having their 4th Annual Bagnell Dam Duck Drop this Saturday, August 4th!!!   This is an awesome event that will give you a chance to win $5000 CASH and help support local children in need.

The day will be filled with family fun activities that offer something for the entire family to enjoy.  The day will begin with a 5K Run/Waddle Walk at 8:00am that starts at the Dam Bait Shop - whether you are a seasoned runner or just want to get out of the house for a nice stroll, the Run for the Dam is a great event to participate in and all proceeds will benefit local needy children.

The Family Fun Zone will offer all kinds of great activities and  will be open from 10:00am-3:00pm.  Games, entertainment, face painting, food and much more will be happening throughout the day.  Bring your kids and enjoy a family friendly atmosphere.

The Duck Drop will begin at noon, as Lake Ozark Helicopters pours down thousands of rubber ducks to float down the river and begin the much anticipated race!!  Twelve prizes will be awarded with the winning duck ticket holder receiving $5,000 cash!  There will also be other prizes ranging from $1,000 cash, a $500 shopping card to Hy Vee, five $100 shopping cards to Paul’s Supermarket and many more. At 2pm the official winner will be announced and you need not be present to win.  

All the money raised from the event benefits the Kiwanis Club of the Ozark Coast which focuses on helping LOCAL children in need throughout the Lake Area.

What's Cookin' at Dog Days Bar & Grill

Dog Days Bar & Grill is Lake of the Ozark's #1 Waterfront Restaurant with a menu offering some great items that won't leave you hungry!!

The new menu at Dog Days features gourmet burgers, fresh salads and some tasty new appetizers.  Don't worry, we still have many of your favorites on the menu like our mouth watering steaks, seafood and pasta.

STARTERS   Start your meal off right with coconut shrimp, prime rib sliders, blue crab & shrimp cakes, jerk wings and crab legs.  These are just a few of the favorites you will find on our menu!  

BURGERS - We take our burgers to a whole new level and offer so many options, you're sure to find a burger that will satisfy your taste buds. We have delicious juicy burgers made of Certified Angus Beef, Ground Prime Rib, Farm Raised Bison and Ground Turkey.   Want to try something different, how about our Cheddar En Fuego - a prime rib burger with cheddar cheese, candied jalapenos, bacon and a sweet raspberry sauce served on a warm pretzel bun.  Surf & Turf burger, a Baja Burger, a California Turkey Burger or just a good ole fashion Cheeseburger are a few of the options for you to choose from.

SALADS AND SANDWICHES - if you are looking for something a little lighter, we have salads, wraps and sandwiches.   We have classic options like the Cobb Salad, Caesar Salad and Garden Salad as well as our Asian Tuna Salad and BBQ Pork Salad.
