Yes, Dog Days Bar & Grill is officially closed for the season, but that doesn't mean the fun has at stopped at the Dog. We are opening our waterfront bar for a very special concert event featuring some of the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks and you're invited!

ONE-NIGHT-ONLY
On Saturday, December 8, 2018, we're going to party like it's mid-summer once again! (We will be partying inside, of course, where it's nice and warm.) The bar will be open, as will the dance floor, for an incredible concert featuring headliners Machine Gun Symphony and special guest Zero Zero. 

Tickets are on sale right now at Wobbly Boots Roadhouse in Osage Beach for $10 each in advance, or you can pick them up Dog Days for $15 each on show night. Doors open at 7 pm when we'll have the bar open for you and the stage open for two incredible bands! 

Machine Gun Symphony
Machine Gun Symphony is a Dog Days Bar & Grill crowd favorite. These talented fellas bring back the era of infamous 80's metal in a way that will keep you out on the dance floor all night long!  

Zero Zero
MGS will be joined by special guests Zero Zero. Get ready to go on a journey back to all of your musical guilty pleasures from the 2000s. They will be performing all of your favorite hits, just minus the eyeliner and skinny jeans.

More December Fun in Osage Beach
Our sister restaurant, Wobbly Boots Roadhouse, not only has tickets for you to our concert event, but you can also pick up your tickets to a very special Bourbon Fireside Dinner at the Boot while you're there too! On Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at 6:30 pm, a 5-course gourmet dinner will be served and a savory bourbon will be paired with each of those courses. The hosting distillery for December's dinner is Buffalo Trace Distillery and Sazerac. More bourbon-pairing dinners are planned to happen throughout the winter.  

Tickets for this delicious event are $125 each and are limited to only 20 seats. A portion of those ticket sales will be donated to the Lake of the Ozarks Idiots Club. This is a wonderful lake area organization that improves the self-esteem of in-need local children by providing basic needs and making it possible for them to participate in school or community activities.

During all of the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, give yourself a much-deserved break and have some fun! LOMDA is once again bringing the Spring In-Water Boat Show to the docks of your favorite waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks! Friday-Sunday, April 20-22, 2018, our dock slips will be filled with the newest watercraft for you to get an up-close and personal look at. There will be lots of tents set up on land, too, showcasing the latest and best items you will need for an awesome summer on the water. 

This is a great way to get the excitement for a brand new season of fun on the Lake of the Ozarks started. Tickets are $6 for anyone 13 and older, and kids 12 and under get to check it all out for free.

Logboat Beer Social
Now is the time to buy your tickets for a delicious evening on Thursday, April 26, 2018, taking place atop our newly built Woof Top Patio. You can enjoy the unbelievable view of the gorgeous Lake of the Ozarks from an incredible vantage point while dining on delicious Dog Days foods paired with some of Logboat Brewing Company's best beers. 

Dinner takes place from 5:30-7:30, ending just before sunset, which is scheduled to happen around 8 pm. We're expecting it to be even more beautiful than usual when it's seen from the Woof Top Patio! 

Tickets are just $39.99 per person, and you can pick yours up at Dog Days right now. Seating will be limited, so don't wait. Food & drinks will be served buffet-style, with different pairings set up to try at each table. These will include:

Join Us For The 32nd Annual Fall Harbor Hop! (Oct. 14, 2017)

The fun seems to never stop at the lake, and also right here at the best waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks. The weather has been awesome, and we've still got the 32nd Annual Fall Harbor Hop to look forward to on Saturday, October 14. Just in case you're unfamiliar with this exciting day on the water, Dog Days Bar & Grill has all of the awesome details in this blog for you.

How Harbor Hop Works
Travel by boat to at least 7 of the more than 40 participating waterfront locations around the lake, picking up poker cards at each one to create a winning hand. You can get registered and get your hop started at any of the card stops for an optional $20 donation (per 7-card hand.) You are welcome to enter as many times as you like. 

The first card will be drawn when you sign up, and you'll collect 6 more at 6 different stops. Your hand is complete as soon as you draw the 7th card, unless you choose to draw a bonus 8th card to give your hand an added boost for an additional $5. As long as your completed hand is turned in by 7 pm on October 14, you'll be eligible for the following prizes. Prize amounts depend on the amount collected for the Harbor Hop. 

1st Place: 10%
2nd Place: 9%
3rd Place: 8%
4th Place: 7%
5th-10th Places: 5% each
4 Worst Hands: 4% each
Random Drawing for 10 Hands: 2% each

The Bonus: Section winners will be recognized from players that draw all 7 of their cards within a single section of checkpoints.

Wear Your Swimsuit!
Sure, the lake is getting a little too chilly to comfortably enjoy, but the heated pools at Dog Days Bar & Grill are just right! Plan to stay a while when you make your stop here because you're going to want to spend some quality time with us. The swim-up bar will be open, and we've even got a family-friendly area in case the kids are hopping with you this weekend. We are hosting 2 checkpoints at the Dog, so you get 2 cards for 1 stop, giving you a little extra time to spare!

SPICY Spring SAMBAL Menu at Dog Days!

It's time to spice things up a little bit!

When you're looking for an extra exciting night, come on out to your favorite waterfront restaurant and bar at the Lake of the Ozarks to enjoy our spicy, exotic Sambal Menu - available only for a limited time at Dog Days Bar & Grill!

What is "Sambal"?

In its simplest form, Sambal is a spicy Southeast Asian condiment made from chile peppers and salt. A more elaborate Sambal may contain onion, lime juice, lemongrass, sugar, garlic, oil, and/or vinegar. You can find Sambal in a jar or bottle at an Asian food market - or in the international aisle at the grocery store.

There are many different varieties of Sambal. Sambal Oelek is the kind you're most likely to find in the United States. We have been experimenting with this sauce this spring, and we're now very excited to offer these all-new food and beverage options at the best restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks for those who like it a little spicy.

El Cerdo Volcan

Our house sausage blend patty seared to keep the juices in, topped with grilled onions, piquante peppers, ghost pepper cheese. Drizzled with Sambal sauce on a kaiser bun. Served with your choice of side.

Smoked Thai Sambal Wings

Our house smoked jumbo wings flame grilled and tossed in Sambal sauce. Served with bleu cheese or buttermilk ranch dressing.

Sambal Bacon Balls

Our house specialty bacon wrapped meatballs tossed in a spicy Sambal red sauce with melted provolone cheese. Served with garlic bread.

Harbor Hop!

It's that time of year again! The much-anticipated Harbor Hop will be back on Saturday, May 3rd. Compete for the winning hand by picking up cards at a variety of local restaraunts - including one of the top 10 water bars in the nation! You can spend as much time at every location as you want, as long as you turn your hand in by 7 pm (simply turn it in wherever you picked up your last card).

This fun-filled event is a unique way to try your luck at a game of poker against all your lake neighbors - and maybe win a little money while you're at it! It only costs $15 per 7-card hand, and there a tons of opportunities to win! 

This can be a great way to spice up your evening - or you can make a day out of it! Most of the checkpoints open at 11:00 am, but some open as early as 9:00! You can enter the harbor hop by stopping in at any one of the checkpoints. You will draw the first card where you purchase your hand.

Dog Days is the perfect place for lunch!!  Whether you are having a business lunch, girls day, family gathering or you're just plain hungry, Dog Days has something on the menu to please everyone!!!  We offer a wide variety of items to choose from and you can enjoy the beautiful views from the patio of  Lake Ozarks Best Waterfront Restaurant!!

Many of our guests choose from our soups, salads and wraps because they are quick and always satisfying.  Here are a few of the great items to choose from our menu!!

• BBQ Pork Salad - a little sampling from our sister restaurant Wobbly Boots BBQ - award winning pulled pork mixed with a blend of fresh greens and crisp cabbage, corn, red peppers, red onions, served with BBQ sauce and ranch.  Served with Garlic toast.  
• Dogwood Club - We stuff this double-decker with Hickory Smoked Ham, Turkey and Bacon, then add lettuce, tomato, Swiss and American Cheese and our house made avocado mayonnaise.
• Asian Tuna Salad - 6 oz of Ahi Tuna seared rare, set atop a blend of crisp cabbage and spring mix, corn, red peppers, red onions and fried won-ton strips, drizzled with Asian sesame dressing.
• Shrimp & Avocado Wrap - Sauteed shrimp and rich avocados paired with crisp celery, roasted garlic mayo, with a hint of lemon juice wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla with fresh greens.
• California Turkey Wrap - Lean, Hickory Smoked breast of Turkey, sprouts, lettuce, and tomato topped with avocado mayo and provolone in a sun dried tomato wrap.
