Full Moon Float-In Parties
Everybody loves sunshine at the Lake of the Ozarks, but when is the last time you got out and enjoyed some moonlight? Grab your best friends and take your boat out to Dog Days for a night you won't soon forget. These float-in parties will take place during every full moon from April-September!

LOMDA In-Water Boat Show
Every April, the Lake of the Ozarks Marine Dealers Association hosts their spring in-water boat show at Dog Days. Boating enthusiasts will come from far and wide to preview the new cruisers, performance boats, PWCs, available for the 2015 season... will you be one of them? Mark your calendars now for April 17-19, 2015!

The Canine Cannonball
It's one of the most famous summer events at the Lake of the Ozarks! Animal lovers will gather at Dog Days June 12-14, 2015 for one of the best dog competitions around. Cheer on your favorite dogs as they leap to new heights! Even if your dog isn't competing, remember that he/she is more than welcome to come along for a fun day at the Lake.

28 Support Our Troops Poker Run
Everybody loves poker runs at the Lake of the Ozarks! Join us from June 25-28, 2015 for fun-filled days at the Lake as we raise awareness for the brave men and women who serve our beautiful country.

AquaPalooza
It's the BIGGEST and BEST free concert at the Lake of the Ozarks. Dog Days will be PACKED with boats and people coving out for a fantastic day at the Lake. Last year, we had some of the best 80's cover bands in the Midwest here to perform! Keep watching our website and our social media to learn who the big entertainers will be this year. The date for AquaPalooza is set for July 18, 2015.

Race Pre-Party
The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is one of the most highly anticipated events at the Lake every year. The race is set for August 22-30. Don't forget to join us on August 21st, 2015 for the race pre-party to kick it all off! It's going to be a night to remember!

Don't look now, but... Dog Days Bar & Grill is THIS CLOSE to reopening for the 2015 season! After another long winter, the crew at Dog Days is more than ready to crack open a few cold ones and soak up another wonderful summer at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Dog Days Bar & Grill: 2014 Year in Review!

Well folks, it's official... After months of planning, shopping, and counting down the days, Christmas is finally here! With Christmas this week and New Year's just around the corner, all of us at Dog Days Bar & Grill wanted to dedicate this blog to a 2014 recap. 

2014 has been a pretty stellar year, to say the least. From amazing bands to record-breaking dogs, we certainly made our fair share of memories from the summer of 2014!

AquaPalooza

Who else remembers the biggest and best outdoor concert at the Lake of the Ozarks? Our cove was packed with boats and people ready to relax, grab a few drinks, and listen to amazing music. We were joined by 80s cover bands Women of Rock, Revelation: A Tribute to Journey, Members Only, and Hells Bells: America's #1 AC/DC Tribute Band. Hard to believe that so much awesome could fit into one cove! 

Canine Cannonball

Canine Cannonball is one of the Lake of the Ozarks' best annual events, and this year it was better than ever! We always have some pretty impressive jumpers, but history was made this year when an ambitious dog named Griz soared to a record-breaking 8'9"! Griz and his owner, Tony Lampert, are from St. Louis. Check out the video of his amazing leap!

Bogeys & Beer Golf Tournament

Dog Days is proud to be an annual sponsor for the Bogeys & Beer Golf Tournament. This year, we helped raise money for the Lamb House, CADV, and Kid's Harbor. Participants were able to choose from a variety of different sponsorship levels so they could help provide for families in need. 

Poker Runs

We participated in three awesome poker runs this year - Spring Harbor Hop, Fall Harbor Hop, and the Shootout Poker Run. Participants got to enjoy a full day on the water at their favorite restaurants at the Lake of the Ozarks, and we loved getting to be a part of their great time!

In-Water Boat Show

This event happened all the way back in April, but it certainly deserved mention, too. We were thrilled to host tons of different brands and vendors at one of the Lake's best annual events. Attendees were able to get everything they needed to prepare for another epic summer - and have a great time while they were at it.

What a wonderful year! We're already counting down the days to each of these events next year. In the meantime, though, we're excited to celebrate the holidays with all of our friends and family. Merry Christmas and/or Happy Hanukkah to you and yours! We hope your holiday season is filled with merriment and joy.
