Awesome Appetizers Offer a Quick, Delicious Bite

The next big event that Dog Days Bar & Grill is getting ready for is the 31st Annual Fall Harbor Hop on Saturday, October 8, 2016. We realize that everyone is busy that day trying to hit as many stops as possible. Rather than a big meal, you may prefer a quick bite, and your favorite waterfront restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks has a giant Starters Menu full of flavor for you to order from.

Hickory Smoked Wings
We take our Award Winning smoked wings and toss them with your choice of sauce, then serve them up with celery and ranch or bleu cheese dressing. Sauce choices include:

Buffalo Chicken Dip
This zesty and creamy dip features the great taste of buffalo chicken wings without all the mess! Topped with melted Mozzarella cheese and served with corn tortilla chips.

Chicken Tenders

We hand bread and fry five chicken tenders, then serve them with your choice of dipping sauce. For an added kick, try them tossed in any of our wing sauces.

Corn tortilla chips smothered in chili con queso, pico de gallo, and jalapenos. Served with salsa and sour cream on the side. Feel like adding some meat? Try:

Thai Tuna Nachos
Ahi tuna is diced and served chilled, tossed in our Thai chile sauce and sweetened soy, on top of crisp wonton chips, fresh mango, wakame, pickled ginger, and drizzled with Wasabi cream.

Crab Rangoon
A delicious blend of crab meat, cream cheese, and herbs stuffed in 6 crispy wonton skins. Served with a sweet and sour mango dipping sauce.

Cheesy Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms
Jumbo mushroom caps packed full of house blend sausage, green onions, and cream cheese, all topped with melted mozzarella and toasted bread crumbs.

Fried Pickles
An Ozark Favorite! Hand breaded garlic pickle slices fried golden brown and served with jalapeno ranch dressing.

Bacon Wrapped Meatballs
Our house blend sausage wrapped with smoky bacon, then tossed in cheddar and bourbon BBQ sauce and served with garlic bread.

Asian Ahi Tuna
A fresh Ahi tuna filet seared and served chilled with fresh slaw, Asian ginger sauce, and spicy wasabi.

Quesadilla
A large crispy flour tortilla with a blend of cheddar jack cheese, black beans, black olives, pico do gallo, and your choice of meat melted together. Served with salsa and sour cream on the side. Choices include:

Crab Legs
Boiled in our secret spices, these sweet, succulent snow crab legs are served with lemon and drawn butter.

We'll get your order in and served up quickly so that you can head to your next Harbor Hop stop, but you don't have to be in a big hurry to leave. Our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar is offering 2 card pickup points this year, so we're like 2 stops in 1! Plus, the always entertaining Noe Palma will be performing from 1-5 pm, and you don't want to miss that. Dog Days Bar & Grill is still open 7 days a week at 11 am, and the weather is still awesome. Dog Days' Spectacular Starters Menu

It's a new season, which means we've beefed up our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurant menu with a few new items to add to all of your favorite dishes. Today, we figured the perfect place to begin exploring this year's Dog Days Bar & Grill menu was with, what else, the "Starters."

Our appetizer menu is perfect for a snack along with a cocktail, and also for sharing with a few friends before a big meal. Here are the twelve starter dishes that we have for you this year.

Nachos

Corn tortilla chips smothered in chili con queso, pico de gallo, and jalapenos. Served with salsa and sour cream on the side. We can also add your choice of the following meats:

spicy ground beef
steak
jerk chicken
seafood

Cheesy Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms
