AquaPalooza 2017 is happening this Saturday, July 15 starting at noon, lakeside, at the best waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks! Hundreds of boats, thousands of people, tons of incredible food & drinks, and 4 of the best bands you've ever heard, all right here at Dog Days Bar & Grill! 

Scott Duncan
Coming to us from the Kansas City area, Scott Duncan is one of the most accomplished and skilled musicians you'll ever have the pleasure of listening to. He has a wonderfully unique approach to his performance of popular music, plus the amazing ability to vocally change characteristics from one song to the next, allowing him to evoke the sound and feel of the original performers. Expect to hear a little bit of everything: Beatles, U2, Johnny Cash, Boy George, Neil Diamond, Outkast, Jimmy Buffett, Men At Work, John Denver... the list goes on and on! Scott is a true crowd-pleaser. 

The Mixtapes 
This premier 90's tribute band is made up of 5 incredibly talented performers that all take over lead vocals at some point, allowing them to cover a wide range of hits from the decade. They cover the best of yesterday's radio hits with tunes from the Cranberries, Beck, Nirvana, No Doubt, Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer, Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Third Eye Bling, and more. During their show you can relive the days when radio was fun and concerts really got you excited!   

Chris Weaver Band
Mixing southern rock with soul and country blues, Chris Weaver and his incredible band have been inspiring crowds all around the world for many years now. Much of their music's inspiration came from growing up in a musical household and listening to songs by Tom Petty, Bob Seger, John Mellencamp, and Joe Cocker, to name a few. The band has released 2 albums, "Standing In Line" and "American Dreamer." This last album showcases soulful music with a gritty passion for songs that define the American fabric - determination, love, family life, faith in a higher power, and the helpfulness of the American Dream. 

The Elton John Experience
Elton John's music has made its way into history and into our hearts over the years. When his songs play, its hard not to join in and sing along. Dennis Laffoon's Elton John Experience pays tribute to this incredible music, recreating the memorable performances of Sir Elton John. Dennis, a keyboard prodigy, regional celebrity, and national recording artist, not only brings the songs you know and love, but also the outrageous costumes, exciting stage show, and incredible special effects.

AquaPalooza 2017 is Coming!!! - Saturday, July 15

It's time once again for the highly anticipated, single largest 1-day boating event at the Lake of the Ozarks! AquaPalooza 2017 is happening on Saturday, July 15 at Dog Days Bar & Grill starting at noon. Thousands of people will flock to our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurant and bar by land and by lake, and hundreds of boats will be parked on and around our docks to enjoy the show. If you haven't experienced AquaPalooza before, your chance is coming soon! 

The Lakeside Concert
This amazing annual event at the Lake of the Ozarks is centered around an unbelievable lakeside concert featuring 4 incredible musical acts. We put up a stage facing the lake so that everyone can enjoy the show from the restaurant, the docks, and the water in front of it. This year's lineup includes:

The Thousands of People
We weren't kidding when we said that this was the single largest 1-day boating event at the Lake of the Ozarks. People come from all over the country to attend this awesome party. There is a waiting list for dock slips a year in advance, and all of the boaters that don't get one simply tie up to each other and fill the entire cove with watercraft. In between all of those boats, the lake is filled with people on floaties, sitting back, relaxing, and having a great time with all the new friends they're meeting. 

You don't have to come by boat to join the AquaPalooza fun. You can hear the music from the restaurant, and you can even see the stage from most areas to the side of it, including the Dog Pound. There will also be vendor booths open to browse during the show, and of course, that brand new pool to hang out in! 

The New Pool
You've surely heard by now that we've put in an awesome pool at Dog Days Bar & Grill. There is a family friendly section on one side, plus a more grown-up area with in-water tables and a swim-up bar. This year you can cool off in the water without ever having to get into the lake!  

The Delicious Food & Drinks
As always, we'll be serving up the best-tasting food at the Lake of the Ozarks all day long, beginning at 11 am. Lunch, dinner, and all the snacks you need in between to keep you going all day long. There are 4 bars for you to get all your favorite cocktails from, including the coldest beer on the lake! Come hungry and thirsty, we'll take care of you!  

Great Music All July
AquaPalooza may be the biggest concert happening here in July, but it's not the only one! You can hear the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks all month long on our outdoor and indoor stages.
