Tacos & Nachos That Will WOW Your Taste Buds

Among the long list of irresistible delicacies on the menu at our waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks, our gourmet tacos and signature nachos are extremely popular with diners. You'll find classic ingredients in these dishes but you will also find quite a few ingredients and recipes unique to Dog Days Bar & Grill. If you're in the mood for something familiar yet slightly different, one of these tasty options might be exactly what you need!

Gourmet Tacos
We've got five fantastic types of tacos for you to choose from on the menu. Each order is served with natural cut fries or you may upgrade to one of our signature side dishes. Salsa and sour cream are available upon request.

Spicy Beef Tacos
Ground beef, shredded lettuce, cheddar jack cheese, pico, and roasted tomato and jalapeno ranch.

Steak Tacos
Blackened tender tips with our Southern spices, cheddar jack cheese, pico, roasted tomato, and jalapeno cream and cabbage in two flour tortillas.

Jerk Chicken Tacos
Diced chicken smoked with island spices, cabbage, peppadews, sweet corn, and sweet and spicy jerk sauce.

Blackened Mahi Tacos
Mahi filets seared in our Southern spices with crisp cabbage and pico in two flour tortillas drizzled in roasted tomato and jalapeno cream.

Asian Shrimp Tacos
Sauteed teriyaki shrimp, crisp cabbage, pico, and shredded pepper jack cheese.

Signature Nachos
Four of the nacho plates at Dog Days Bar & Brill begin with a bed of corn tortilla chips and chile con queso, plus salsa and sour cream served on the side. Beyond that, each one is deliciously different. The fifth type is even more unique in a very flavorful way.

Spicy Beef Nachos
Seasoned ground beef, pico, jalapenos, cheddar jack cheese, shredded lettuce, and roasted tomato jalapeno cream sauce.

Jerk Chicken Nachos
Smoked jerk chicken breast, pico, jalapenos, cheddar jack cheese, shredded lettuce, and roasted jalapeno cream sauce.

BBQ Pork Nachos
Slow-smoked pulled pork, jalapenos, pickles, and bourbon BBQ.

Seafood Nachos
Crab, shrimp, scallops, Cajun sauce, diced tomato, peppadews, and jalapenos.

Tuna Poke Nachos
Chilled yellowfin tuna tossed with sweetened soy-ginger sauce, diced mango, wakame, pickled ginger, wasabi cream, and sesame seeds on top of fried wontons.

Any one of those delicious dishes pairs nicely with an ice-cold Corona or one of our masterfully mixed margaritas. You've still got plenty of days left to sit outside and dine lakeside on the deck, but our indoor dining room is cozy and waiting for you when the fall chill gets to be a bit too much.

Celebrate National Taco Day at Dog Days Overlooking the Lake of the Ozarks

Thursday, October 4 is National Taco Day. Many of you will probably head to your nearest Mexican restaurant to celebrate, but those that do will be missing out on the creatively delicious tacos we serve daily at our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront restaurant & bar!

These aren't just your ordinary tacos at Dog Days Bar & Grill either. We offer gourmet versions that will blow your mind and thrill your taste buds. If you're in the mood to upgrade with the addition of margaritas and nachos, we can take care of that too!

Dog Days' Gourmet Tacos
We've got ground beef tacos similar to what you're probably used to here at the Dog (although much tastier!) but our creativity didn't stop at the norm. On the contrary, we've got 5 incredible taco types for you to choose from, and each meal is served alongside our popular curly fries. If you need salsa or sour cream, be sure to let your server know when you order.

Spicy Beef Tacos
Our ground beef tacos are made with fresh, quality ingredients making them tastier than any taco you've had 'til now! In addition to savory ground beef, they also come with shredded lettuce, cheddar jack cheese, pico, and roasted tomato and jalapeno ranch.

Jerk Chicken Tacos
Some people prefer chicken tacos to beef, and once they've tasted our version, regular ol' chicken will never be enough again! Our jerk chicken is smoked with island spices and served with cabbage, sweet corn, and sweet & spicy jerk sauce.

Steak Tacos
We blacken tender tips with our savory Southern spices, then take that succulent meat and serve it along with cheddar jack cheese, pico, roasted tomato & jalapeno cream, and cabbage in two flour tortillas.

Asian Shrimp Tacos
Foodies love seafood tacos, and we've got two versions sure to please the pickiest of seafood fans. It all starts with sauteed teriyaki shrimp. Added to that are crisp cabbage, pico, and shredded pepper jack cheese.

Blackened Mahi Tacos
Next, we take Mahi filets and sear them in our Southern spices. Once ready, they are served with crisp cabbage and pico in two flour tortillas drizzled in roasted tomato & jalapeno cream.

We've Got Nachos Too!
Hardly anyone can say "no" to tacos, and most of those same people can't resist a great big plate of nachos too. Once again, we took a classic dish and made it unique and irresistible in our own special Dog Days' way!

All of our nacho creations begin with a bed of crispy corn tortilla chips, plus chile con queso, salsa, and sour cream. From there, you can choose one of the following styles for a nacho experience like no other!

Spicy Beef or Chicken Nachos
Choose either our fantastic seasoned ground beef or chicken to be joined by pico, jalapenos, cheddar jack cheese, shredded lettuce, and roasted tomato jalapeno cream sauce.

BBQ Pork Nachos
For this terrific treat, we take a generous helping of slow-smoked pulled pork and add jalapenos, pickles, and a lick-your-lips Bourbon BBQ sauce.

Seafood Nachos
This one has an amazing combination of flavorful seafood that will make your taste buds very happy! Crab, shrimp, and scallops are all served with a Cajun sauce, diced tomato, peppadews, and jalapenos.

Tuna Poke Nachos
This base for this delicacy is a bit different than the rest of our nachos. Instead of tortilla chips, we start with fried wontons. On top of that are placed chilled yellowfin tuna that has been tossed with a sweetened soy ginger sauce plus diced mango, wakame, pickled ginger, wasabi cream, and sesame seeds. WOW!
