2 Exciting Events: Lake Pub Crawl Pre-Party & Opening Day at the Dog

Your favorite waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is closed this time of year, but that won't keep us from joining in the fun of the Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl weekend! We've got a very special pre-pub crawl concert coming up, plus opening day for Dog Days Bar & Grill won't be too far behind that.

Pre-Pub Crawl Party

Better make plans to be in town early for the 2019 Lake Pub Crawl, because if you don't then you're going to miss an awesome pre-party at the Dog! We'll be opening the bar, the stage, and the dance floor and throwing a celebration you definitely do not want to miss.

Tickets for this pre-party are currently available at Wobbly Boots Roadhouse for $10 in advance. On Friday at Dog Days, they'll be $15 at the door. Doors will open at 7:00 pm and at 8:00 pm, we've got two amazing bands taking the stage - The Mixtapes and the Plastics.

The Plastics
Springfield's newest high-energy party band will not just be making their Dog Days debut, but their first appearance at the Lake of the Ozarks! They masterfully cover a variety of hits from the 2000's, everyone from Eminem, Avril Lavigne, Nelly, Gwen Stefani, and much more. Join us to welcome this awesome new band to the lake in style!

The Mixtapes
The Mixtapes are regulars to the Dog Days stage, and they always bring in a huge crowd! Every member of this 5-piece group sings, which allows them to cover a huge range of music spanning the Cranberries, Nirvana, No Doubt, Beastie Boys, TLC, Radiohead, Spice Girls, Weezer, Rage Against the Machine, Britney Spears, & Beck... just to name a few! This fantastic bunch of musicians brings the excitement and nostalgia of the 90's to life with a high-energy show that will keep you on the dance floor all night long.

Lake Pub Crawl at Wobbly Boots

You're probably going to need to sleep in after partying all night with us, but when you do get up on Saturday, it's time to start the party once again! The Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl is one of the biggest parties at the Lake of the Ozarks and our sister restaurant, Wobbly Boots Roadhouse, is one of the 16 stops on this year's pub crawl.

The Boot will have the Boomchux on stage from 4-8 pm, and they will be followed by Vinyl Richy from 8 pm-close. You can pick up your $10 pub crawl wristband at Wobbly Boots, as well as a quick bite to eat in their food tent which will be set up outside the restaurant. We've given you our drinks and incredible music a couple of times over the winter this year, but next month, it's time to bring those back for the 2019 season along with our mouthwatering menu items and eventually, once it warms up, those incredible pools and the swim-up bar. We're excited to spend a very eventful Lake Pub Crawl weekend with all of you, and we expect to see everyone back a couple of weeks later to kick off our 2019 season with a great big bang! Winter Opening (1-Night-Only) for a Mardi Gras Pub Crawl Pre-Party!!!

That's right folks, the best waterfront bar & restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is opening our doors for a 1-night-only winter bash, and we want you to join us! We've always hated missing out on the amazing Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl since it takes place during our off-season, so this year Dog Days Bar & Grill has decided to throw a Mardi Gras Pub Crawl PRE-PARTY the night before so we can enjoy some of that fun along with you in true Dog Days style!

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 16
We're getting the Mardi Gras Pub Crawl celebration started early with an amazing pre-party to get you in the mood for a weekend full of excitement! The drinks will be flowing and just like in the summer, we've got the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks lined up to keep you on the dance floor all night long.

We've got a limited number of tickets for sale, so don't wait too long to get yours. (Don't think too hard about it, you know you wanna come!) They are $10 in advance, and you can get yours at our sister restaurant, Wobbly Boots Roadhouse in Osage Beach: (573) 348-2277. Tickets are $15 at the door, but once the room is full, the sales will end! Doors open at 7 pm.

The Dope Ass Sneakers
Opening up the entertainment portion of the evening will be the incredible 90's hip-hop band the "Dope Ass Sneakers" starting at 8 pm. This live-action bunch of musicians takes on all of your favorite hip-hop, rap, and R&B party hits, not just from the 90's, but you'll get a few 80's and 2000's gems mixed in there as well. The perfect group to get you warmed up for our main musical act of the evening.

The Mixtapes
Dog Days Bar & Grill fans are no strangers to this AquaPalooza crowd favorite. A high-energy group of talented musicians that will take you back to a time when radio was fun and concerts got you excited! They're a premier level 90's tribute band playing all of your favorite radio hits from that fantastic decade of music. Every single member of this 5-piece band sings, allowing them to perform a gigantic range of popular songs from groups such as the Cranberries, Nirvana, No Doubt, Beastie Boys, TLC, Spice Girls, Weezer, Britney Spears, Beck, and LOTS more.

Pub Crawl at the Boot
You should have plenty of time to rest Saturday morning before the Mardi Gras Pub Crawl swings into gear. (Buses start running at 4 pm on Saturday, February 17.) So far this year they have 14 lake area bars & restaurants on the route, including Wobbly Boots Roadhouse. The Boot's learned a few things from their "big sister" restaurant over the years, so you know that part of the crawl is going to be an amazing party! A $10 wristband gets you into every stop on the route, each featuring awesome live music, plus you also get to ride the buses all night long between every stop.

Need a Place to Stay?
If you're coming from out of town, or if you simply want to rent an amazing Lake of the Ozarks vacation rental house so all of your friends can spend the weekend together in one spot, Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina can take care of you!

The White House sleeps up to 8 people comfortably, and the Red House can house up to 16 guests. Both houses are lakeside and offer all the comforts of home with spacious rooms, a full kitchen, and even a washer and dryer.
