May at the Dog is Packed FULL of Awesome Events & Great Music

Dog Days Bar & Grill in Osage Beach is positioned perfectly along the gorgeous lake and people join us 7 days a week for an incredible waterfront dining experience. In addition to that, we also host the best annual events at the Lake of the Ozarks as well as feature the most amazing live music in Missouri. Here's a closer look at what we've got in store for you this May 2019.

Weekend #1 in May (It's HUGE!)
Last week our blog highlighted the magnificent fact that we've got Spring Harbor Hop AND the Homegrown Festival - All in 1 Weekend! That's so exciting, it's worth bringing up again this week!

Saturday, May 4

22nd Annual Spring Harbor Hop

& DJ Dr. Cheese

On Saturday, May 4, we'll be hosting not just one, but two card stops for the 22nd Annual Spring Harbor Hop. That means you can easily spend some extra time here with us enjoying our lakeside hospitality. (Be sure our sister restaurant, Shorty Pants Lounge & Marina, is on your list of stops for the day too. You can even fill your boat up while you're there!)

Once you're done hopping for the day, head on back to the Dog for the rest of the evening. You can take another dip in the pool and have some dinner before dancing the night away with DJ Dr. Cheese. Don't after-party too hard though, because Sunday is a day you'll want to be rested up for.

Sunday, May 5

4th Annual Homegrown Festival

Beginning at 1 pm, we'll have a bunch of Missouri-based breweries, wineries, and distilleries set up all around the decks and pool area. A $10 tasting glass gets you samples of their Show-Me-State goodness, and proceeds benefit Kids Harbor. Then, from 2-6 pm our stage will be filled with some of Missouri's finest musicians.

Get ready for a gourmet food experience! On Tuesday, May 21 from 5:30-7:30 pm, we'll be hosting an evening on the Woof Top Patio with the exotic creations of our very own Chef Kevin McCowan paired with tasty brews from Logboat Brewing Company out of Columbia, MO.

Tickets are $25 each and will be available for purchase soon. If you enjoy delicious culinary experiences and magnificently brewed beers, then you do not want to miss this magical evening.

More Musical May Saturdays
Memorial Day Weekend pops up toward the end of May, but before that, Dog Days Bar & Grill is your Saturday night dance party headquarters! The rest of the week it's all about the great food, amazing drinks, and the super cool pools. On Saturday nights, it's all about getting your groove on!

Spring Harbor Hop AND the Homegrown Festival - All in 1 Weekend!

Dog Days Bar & Grill is your one-stop-shop for the most fun you can possibly pack into one weekend! Coming up very soon, we have not just one but two awesome Lake of the Ozarks annual events coming your way - the 22nd Annual Spring Harbor Hop AND our 4th Annual Homegrown Festival!

22nd Annual Spring Harbor Hop
Saturday, May 4, 2019
This is the largest Poker Hop on the water, with over 40 waterfront bars, restaurants, and marinas participating. Anyone can play. All you have to do is sign up at one of the participating stops listed at www.Funlake.com/HarborHop for an optional $20 donation per 7-card hand. From there, you travel from stop to stop picking up a card for your poker hand at each one. Once you have 7, you'll turn in your hand at that final stop.

Our Lake of the Ozarks waterfront bar & restaurant happens to have 2 card stops located on site, which is a good thing because once you arrive at the Dog, you're going to want to stick around for a while! We've got delicious food, refreshing drinks, and of course those awesome pools to chill out in! There's both a family-friendly pool and a second with a swim-up bar, so you don't even have to get out of the water to get a new drink! Later on Saturday night, we'll also have DJ Dr. Cheese playing all your favorite dance music to keep the fun going all night long!

4th Annual Homegrown Festival
Sunday, May 5
This is the awesome festival Dog Days introduced to bring you some of the best of what the "Show-Me-State" has to offer! Missouri's finest wineries, breweries, distilleries, and musicians will be here all afternoon for you to check out.

We'll have vendors set up around the decks and pool area offering samples of their delicious beverages beginning at 1 pm, and the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks will be going strong from 2-6 pm.

This year's musical lineup includes the following extremely talented local bands. The video below is a couple of years old, but we think you'll recognize one of the lakeside locations in it! 😉
